Edward A. Zak's Obituary
Edward A. Zak, 63, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Edward and Rita (Albert) Zak.
Edward was a great and loving father, devoted husband and engaged in various activities throughout his lifetime such as fishing, painting and sculpting. He enjoyed the outdoors and found solace in caring for animals and plants. He was an avid collector of antiques and kept busy with his numerous garden and creative projects. Edward was a machinist at Hamilton Sundstrand in Windsor Locks, CT for over 30 years. He lived a very happy and fulfilling life surrounded by his loving family and friends. May his soul forever rest in peace.
Edward is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Linda (Kozak) Zak; two children, Aleesha Lindstrom and her husband Dylan, and Jeffery Zak; and his sister, Barbara LeBrun. He was predeceased by his brother, Gregory Zak; and his sister, Marti Zak.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 2 PM to 4 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 12 PM at St. Mary Cemetery, 1141 Stanley St., New Britain, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
