Eleanor Fantoli's Obituary
Eleanor M. Fantoli, 91, of Staffordville, CT, wife of the late William Fantoli, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Somers, CT, daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude (Whitney) Simons. Eleanor retired as a bookkeeper from the Town of Stafford Board of Education. She was a member of the Staffordville Gospel Church, where she was the superintendent of Sunday school for many years. She was also a member of the Stafford Senior Center, and greatly enjoyed her cats, flowers, and birds. Eleanor is survived by her two children, William A. Fantoli and his wife Sherry, and Joan M. Mead and her husband David, all of Staffordville, CT; two grandsons, Justin A. Doughty and his wife Amanda of Rockville, CT, and Nathan W. Meade-Doughty and his wife Shannon of Staffordville, CT; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Ernest Whitney and Carl Simons. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 10-11:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Church Service at 12 Noon at the Staffordville Gospel Church, East St., Staffordville, CT. Burial in Staffordville Cemetery, Staffordville, CT, will be held in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Staffordville Gospel Church, P.O.
