Eleanor Parlin's Obituary
Eleanor M. Parlin, 77, of Wales, MA, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2010 with her family by her side at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Rutland, VT, daughter of the late John W. and Catherine (Sawyer) Erickson. Eleanor retired as an inspector from Standard Dyne. She was a member and past president of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Rutland, VT. She also greatly enjoyed playing bingo, and going with her husband to antique shows. Eleanor is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Lawrence D. Parlin; her six children, Donna Pufahl and her husband Raymond, Donald Riley and his wife Shirley, Eddie Riley, Patrick Riley, Stephen Riley and his wife Mary, and Kathy Lamb; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Riley. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 5-7 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
