Electra Sacherek's Obituary
Electra R. Sacherek, 94, of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Michael G. Sacherek, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2011. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Ernesto and Catherine (Biz) Rogledi. Electra worked as a housekeeping supervisor at Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Edward Parish, the Italian Benefit Society Ladies Auxiliary, and the Stafford Senior Center. Electra is survived by her four children, Kathleen Conde of Manchester, CT, Robert Sacherek of Stafford Springs, CT, Nancy Sacherek and her husband Edmund Almada of West Hartford, CT, and Linda Shelansky and her husband Ira of West Suffield, CT; three grandchildren, Melissa and her husband Larry, Kate, and Evan; two great granddaughters, Samantha and Alexandria; two sisters, Tina Sheiber of Somers, CT, and Marie Pelizari and her husband Roger of Stafford Springs, CT; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three siblings, Tourido “Tweets” Rogledi, Melyna “Mina” Della Guistina, and Clelia “Ellie” Rogledi. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011, with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
