Elizabeth Figura's Obituary
Elizabeth “Betty” Figura, 93, of Staffordville, CT, beloved wife of the late Stephen Figura, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Parkway Pavilion, Enfield, CT. She was born in Newark, NJ, daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Koday) Hornacek. Betty retired as a button sorter from the former B. Schwanda and Sons button factory. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and the Stafford Senior Center. Betty is survived by her three sons, Stephen Figura and his wife Jackie of Wales, MA, David Figura and his wife Janet of Wales, MA, and Kenneth Figura of Staffordville, CT; three granddaughters, Marva Murphy, Traci Figura, and Leslie Jacobs; a great granddaughter, Lauren Jacobs; two sisters, Ann Willis and Lillian Willis; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Christine Michalec; and four brothers, Stephen, John, William, and Francis Hornacek. A calling hour will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a church service at 11 A.M. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, West Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
