Elizabeth M. Fournier's Obituary
Elizabeth M. Fournier, 72, of Union, CT passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie (Senofante) Faust. Liz worked at AETNA as a contract analyst for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Edward Church, and was a former member of the Union Free Public Library Board. She greatly enjoyed being Mrs. Claus with her husband, Ed, in Stafford and Union. Liz is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Edward A. Fournier; her son, David Fournier and his wife Stacey Delldonna; three siblings, Samuel Faust and his wife Laura, Irene Brown and her husband Al, and Joann Faust; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Michael E. Fournier. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. There will be no calling hours, and burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Union Free Public Library, 979 Buckley Highway, Union, CT 06076 or to the Union Volunteer Fire Department, 1049 Buckley Highway, Union, CT 06076.
