Elizabeth N. Kaleta's Obituary
Elizabeth “Betty” N. Kaleta, 100, of Union, CT, wife of the late Frank Kaleta, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016. She was born in Framingham, MA, daughter of the late Thurston and Bessie (Duncan) Royce. Betty retired as a librarian assistant at the age of 86 from the Union Free Public Library. She is survived by her two daughters, Ruth Locke and her husband Richard, and Jan Parsons and her husband Carl Myers; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Mayne Royce. Funeral services with burial in Union Center Cemetery, Union, CT, will be held privately. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Blair Manor for all their care and support.
