Elizabeth Kuchinsky's Obituary
Elizabeth S. Kuchinsky, 96, of Lohse Rd., Willington, CT, beloved wife of the late Alex Kuchinsky, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Pittsburg, PA, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Vavro) Shaffer. Elizabeth was a longtime and active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and the Willington Senior Center. She was an avid reader and nature lover. She enjoyed tending her many roses and feeding the birds. Elizabeth is survived by her three children, Maureen Ney and her husband Robert of West Hartford, CT, Mary Zuk and her companion Bidwell Fuller of Windsor, CT, and David Kuchinsky and his wife Diane of Willington, CT; four grandchildren, Michael Zuk and his wife Gina, Joanne Winthers, Brian Ney and his wife Sharon, and Alison Ney and her husband Kapil Kachru; two great grandsons, Michael and John Zuk; and a brother, Richard Shaffer. She was predeceased by a son, A. Bernard Kuchinsky. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Church Service at 11 A.M. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, West Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Moose Meadow Cemetery, Willington, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
