Elizabeth McAnanama's Obituary
Elizabeth A. "Mack" McAnanama, 97, of Buckley Highway, Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late James T. McAnanama, Sr., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at her home. She was born in Stafford, CT, daughter of the late William and Katherine (Hannefin) Roche. Betty retired as a supervisor from the Mansfield State Training School after 30 years of employment. She was a member of St. Edward Parish. Betty is survived by her three children, James T. McAnanama, Jr. and his wife Donna of Wales, MA, Elizabeth M. Groleau, and Shirley A. Osterman and her husband John, all of Stafford Springs, CT; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; her sister, Helen Dombek of Stafford Springs, CT; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Robert and Richard; a grandson, Allen; great grandson, David; and her sister, Margaret Parent. Her funeral will be held on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be private. A calling hour will be held on Friday from 9-10 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
