Elizabeth Nagorny's Obituary
Elizabeth E. Nagorny, 83, of Manchester, CT, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 after a short illness. She was born in Willington, CT on September 16, 1927 daughter of the late Peter and Pasha (Furick) Nagorny. Elizabeth was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during World War II, and retired from Bell Telephone Co. and after 26 years as a switch board operator for First National Stores. She was predeceased by her husband John Bulik. She leaves behind a sister, Anna Borovoy; brother-in-law, Leo Passardi, Sr.; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 10 A.M. at Willington Hill Cemetery, Tolland Turnpike, Willington, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Edward School Memorial Fund, 6 Benton St., Stafford Springs, CT 06076, or to Visiting Nurse and Health Services of Connecticut, Hospice Program, 8 Keynote Dr., Vernon, CT 06066.
