Ella Turschmann's Obituary
Ella V. Turschmann, 94, of West Street, Stafford Springs, CT died Thursday October 5, 2006 at Rockville General Hospital, Rockville, CT. She was the widow of the late George H. Turschmann who died August 5, 1998. Ella was born in Stafford Springs, CT the daughter of the late Joseph and Virginia (Maggia) Tonidandel. She was a retired school teacher for the Town of Stafford school system after 38 years of service, and a member of St. Edward Parish. She loved playing bridge, was an avid gardener, and after retiring she was a substitute teacher for many years. Ella is survived by 3 nieces and their husbands, Ginny and Alan Serafin, Sally and John Rowell all of Stafford Springs, CT, Nancy and Michael Bard; a loving great nephew Devon Bard all of Ellington, CT; several cousins; and her card playing friends. She was predeceased by a brother Henry J. Tonidandel, and a sister Mildred T. Panciera. Calling hours will be held Saturday October 7, 2006 from 9-10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main Street, Stafford Springs, CT followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High Street, Stafford Springs, CT.
