Ellis B. Hunt's Obituary
Ellis B. Hunt, 97, of Stafford Springs, CT, husband of the late Jean E. (Butler) Hunt, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Andover, CT, son of the late Johnathan and Rebecca (Dunham) Hunt. Ellis had worked on the railroads for several years before moving back to Connecticut and worked as a machine operator at Johnson’s Mill and CUNO, where he retired. His hobbies included singing, telling jokes, and listening to classic country music. Ellis is survived by his four children, Linda Carroll and her partner Bill Alpi, Laurie Skoglund and her husband Steve, Brenda Willis and her husband Dan, and Gary Hunt; 9 grandchildren, Christine, Melissa, Jeffrey, Austin, Brooke, Gary, Dylan, Justin, and Liam; and several great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Edward Hunt; and granddaughter, Rebecca Normandin. His funeral service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
