Emilie Squire's Obituary
Emilie A. Squire, 88, of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Robert E. Squire, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in New York City, daughter of the late Anton and Emily (Rabstejnek) Prochaska. Emilie retired as a bookkeeper from Backus Motors after many years of employment. Emilie is survived by her two children, Karen Soukup and her husband John of Stafford Springs, CT, and Robert M. Squire and his wife Ann of Monson, MA; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Soukup and his companion Joanne Alexander, Kelly Ramsey and her husband Jeffrey, all of Stafford Springs, CT, and Elizabeth and Sara Squire of Monson, MA; a sister-in-law, Mary Prochaska; a nephew, Frank Prochaska, both of Stafford Springs, CT; and her special friend, Madelyn 'Mutzie' Mackovich of Willington, CT. She was predeceased by her brother, Frank Prochaska. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. A calling hour will be held on Monday from 10-11 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
