Emma L. Bradway's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Emma Louise (Dunnebier) Bradway on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the age of 100 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Johanna Dunnebier, her husband of 63 years, Elwin Bradway, and her sister, Helen Bradway. She is survived by her three children, Janet Forster of Palmyra, VA, William Bradway of Staffordville, CT, and Claudia Rhodes of Riverdale, GA, six grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. In her younger years, she worked at the Rhode Island Worstered Mill and later Dry Core Felt. Most of her adult life was spent as a homemaker for her husband and children. She was an excellent baker, especially blueberry pie and Christmas stollen. In her spare time she loved to do word find puzzles, read, knit, sew, and do beautiful crewel work. Burial services will be private. Donations in her name can be made to Stafford Fire Department No. 1, P.O. Box 147, Staffordville, CT 06077.
