Emma L. Clarke's Obituary
Emma L. Clarke, 76, of Chaplin, CT, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Harrisburg, PA, daughter of the late Leroy and Emma (Bainbridge) Fallinger. Emma was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed line dancing and was an avid gardener. Above all, she loved her family and cherished the time she was able to spend with them. Emma is survived by her beloved husband, Richard “Rick” Clarke; eight children, Sandra Burgess and her fiancé Carl Sargent, Dana Burkey and her husband William, Jr., Shanna Mesick and her husband Matthew, Julie Wyatt and her husband William, Edward Zimmerman, III and his wife LeeAnn, Lori Hepton, Angela Duerr and her husband Jeffrey, and Rhonda “Cricket” Sherrill; 23 grandchildren, Ashley, Morgan, Jacob, Gillian, Emmit, Kayla, Sara, Aaron, Ryan, Naomi, Rhianna, Caitlyn, Dakota, Christian, Jasmine, Ariel, Darren, Shawn, Sabrina, Ben, Jordan, Justin, and Jaime; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Marilyn McLenegan and her husband Samuel; brother, Leroy Fallinger, Jr. and his wife Connie; mother-in-law, Constance Clarke; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Janise Hartman; and sister, MaryAnn Puckett. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 9-11 A.M., with a funeral service to take place at 11 A.M., at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
