Esther Fantoli's Obituary
Esther C. Fantoli, 81, of Jamestown, RI, and formerly of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Robert A. Fantoli, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2007 at her home. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Victor and Josephine (Geovanas) Tonidandel. Esther was a member of St. Mark's Parish, the Jamestown Senior Center, and volunteer at a soup kitchen in Newport. She taught knitting and sewing to many people and was always available to help anyone in need. She also sewed infant gowns for Threads of Love, a group affiliated with the Women and Infants Hospital Neo-Natal Unit. Esther is survived by three sons, John Fantoli and his wife Joyce of Jamestown, RI, James Fantoli of Ashford, CT, and Richard Fantoli and his wife June of Kennebunk, ME; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Leo Tonidandel, and two sisters, Norma Bassett and Ada Tonidandel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 4, 2007 at 10 A.M. at St. Mark's Church, Jamestown, RI. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2007 from 9-10 A.M. followed by a funeral service at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse Services of Newport & Bristol Counties, P.O. Box 690, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
