Ethel L. Griffin's Obituary
Ethel L. Griffin, 88, of East Longmeadow, MA, wife of the late Albert L. Griffin, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 2, 2014. She was born in Moores Forks, NY, daughter of the late Leodore and Agnes (LaValley) Messeck. Ethel retired from Milton Bradley as an assembly worker. Her hobbies included bowling, crocheting, and spending time at the beach. Above all, Ethel cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her three daughters, Judy Hubach and her husband Gary, Nancy Hebert, and Donna Fleming and Paul “Dan” Serra, Jr.; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Purrington; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, John Hebert. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, with a procession forming by 12:15 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 P.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Monday, October 6, 2014 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
