Etta Stratton's Obituary
Etta L. Stratton, 84, of Stafford Springs, CT, and formerly of Enfield, CT, beloved wife of the late Roger T. Stratton, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Alamota, Kansas, daughter of the late Jesse R. and Jessie (Stephens) Carroll. She was a member of the Somersville Congregational Church, the Enfield Grange, and a former Girl Scout Leader in Enfield. Etta is survived by her five daughters and four sons-in-law, Lucille and Victor DeNardis of Stafford Springs, CT, Karen and James White III of Enfield, CT, Nancy and Newell Allen of Sarasota, FL, Edie and John Cummings of Sarasota, FL, and Laura Wheelock of Fort Myers, FL; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jesse and Glenis Carroll, Jr. of Tolland, CT, and Roy and Wynona Carroll of Maine; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Lorene Muir of East Windsor, CT, Joan and Carrington Stanford of Willington, CT, and Constance and Anton Janiak of Tolland, CT; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, James Carroll, and a sister, Molly Prinzivalli. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield, CT. A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 10-11 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the service.
