Evelyn Dalpian's Obituary
Evelyn (Schwanda) DalPian, 91, of Stafford Springs, CT, beloved wife of the late Merico 'Mac' DalPian, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2008. She was born in Long Island, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Stehlik) Schwanda. Evelyn retired as a librarian after having worked at Stafford High School. She was a member of the Stafford Women's Club, Stafford Historical Society, Stafford Public Health Nursing Association, the Women's Fellowship at Staffordville Congregational Church, and was a Girl Scout leader for many years. Evelyn is survived by her two daughters, Gail DalPian of Ohio, and Donna Panciera and her husband Gene of Stafford Springs, CT; three grandsons, Todd Panciera, Sr. of Ashford, CT, and Tim and Tony Panciera of Stafford Springs, CT; three great grandchildren, Todd, Jr., Michelle, and Jennifer Panciera; a sister, Georgia Jacobson and her husband John of Alabama; a brother, Joseph Schwanda and his wife Virginia of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Church Service at 1 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church, West Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to Kemper House Olmsted Falls, 25880 Elm St., Olmsted Falls, OH 44138.
