Fiorina Posocco's Obituary
Fiorina "Rina" Posocco, 91, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Bruno Posocco, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Pordenone, Italy, daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Pagnossin) Santarossa. Rina lived in France until 1952 before moving to Stafford. She worked at the Co-op in the produce department for many years. Her hobbies included bingo, gardening, and participating in various farmers markets. Rina is survived by her two children, Sylvia Della Bella and her husband Donald, and Sylvio Posocco and his wife Joan; three grandchildren, Alison Nadeau and her husband Ken, Michael Posocco and his fiancé Sheri Shaw, and Brian Posocco and his girlfriend Christina Algozzini; three great grandchildren, Kiara, Lucas, and Madeline; her sister, Armide Villeneuve of France; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers and one sister. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 9:30-11 A.M. with a funeral service to take place at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
