Florence F. LaPointe's Obituary
Florence F. LaPointe, 88, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of 59 years to the late Joseph P. LaPointe, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021. She was born in Rockville, CT, daughter of the late Steven and Anna (Jezewski) Dzat. Florence worked at TYCO and Ellington Box Company before retirement. She is survived by her children, Philip LaPointe and his wife Janet of Maine, Michael LaPointe and his wife Kathy of Hampton, CT, Anthony LaPointe of Tolland, CT , Anne Marie Brooks and her husband John of Stafford Springs, CT, and David LaPointe of Colchester, CT; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Favreau; brother, Ronald Dzat; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert and Raymond Dzat. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse and Health Services of Connecticut, Hospice Program, 8 Keynote Dr., Vernon, CT 06066.
