Frances House's Obituary
Frances O. House, 91, of Stafford Springs, CT, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford Springs, CT. She was born in Alexander, NY, daughter of the late John and Helen (Chase) Gildner. Frances retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft as a machinist after over 30 years of service. She was also a member of the Pratt and Whitney Retirees, organizing the senior retiree trips for over 20 years. Frances is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ken E. and Marjorie House of Stafford Springs, CT; two daughters and a son-in-law, Elizabeth A. and David Burns of Stafford Springs, CT, and Janis M. Sousa of Willington, CT; 14 grandchildren, Tammy, Robert, Kim, Matthew, David, Daniel, Doreen, Dennis, Debra, Donna, Carol, Earl, Vickie, and Tia; several great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Klaus; and a sister, Ruth Cook. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2006 at 11A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, South Windsor, CT.
