Francis E. Barton's Obituary
Francis E. Barton, 81, of Ellington, CT, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late William Barton and Olive (Papineau) McCallum and her husband Bruce. Frank served in the U.S. Air Force and had worked as a tool and dye maker for ABA. His hobbies he enjoyed included golfing and airplanes. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mildred (Jensen) Barton; son, Steven Barton and his wife Donelle; two grandchildren, Christine and Marc Barton; sister-in-law, Barbara Robinson; and several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 11 A.M. at the Second Congregational Church of Stafford at West Stafford, 197 West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in West Stafford Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse and Health Services of Connecticut, 8 Keynote Dr., Vernon, CT 06066, or to a charity of choice.
