Frank J. Forgette's Obituary
Frank J. Forgette, 90, of Willington, CT, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Tolland, CT, son of the late Arthur and Melvina (Champagne) Forgette. Frank attended schools in Tolland and Rockville, and enlisted in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was honorably discharged as an Engineer Technician Fourth Grade, and served in India, China, and the Burma Theater. He retired as a textile printer from Stafford Printers after 25 years of employment. He was an Honorary Life member of the Willington Hill Fire Department, and member of the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion, Willington Senior Center, and the Stafford Fish and Game Club. He was also an avid fisherman, hunter, and loved his New York Yankees. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Doris (Premo) Forgette; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Louis and Reo Forgette; and sisters, Doris Bentley and Rita Lahue. His funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
