Frank Goolsby's Obituary
Bernard “Frank” Goolsby, 80, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014. Frank was born in Fort Fairfield, ME, son of the late Burlin and Mary (McKinnon) Goolsby. He was a broker in the transportation industry. Frank was a member of the Bonita Springs Elks Club, the Knights of Columbus, the “ROMEO Club”, and was an avid Red Sox fan. Frank is survived by his five children, Laura Goolsby, Janice (Goolsby) Kennedy and her husband Christopher, Bernard F. Goolsby, Jr., David Goolsby and his wife Collette, and Kate Goolsby Pierro; their mother, Catherine (Feasenmyer) Goolsby; nine grandchildren, Kathryn, Alice, Kara, Ryan, Deirdre, Bridget, Holden, Hannah, and Olivia Rose; two sisters, Rita Glod and her husband Joseph, and Judy Gorski; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Frank also leaves his devoted companion, Jean Lordan, with whom he shared his Floridian lifestyle and traveling passions. He was predeceased by three siblings, Pete Goolsby, Al Goolsby, and Jeannie Hogan. His funeral will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014, with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, Rockville, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
