Frank R. Penta's Obituary
Frank R. Penta, 79, of Ellington, CT, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. He was born in Providence, RI, son of the late Frank and Nora (Lefebvre) Penta. Frank retired from Manchester Molding as a machinist. He was a parishioner of St. Luke Church. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved animals and was a big New England sports fan, especially for the Celtics, Patriots, and UCONN Basketball. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Geraldine (Joyal) Penta; two sons, Michael Penta and his wife Ana Perez-Penta, and Shawn Penta and his wife Becky; grandchildren, Imari Perez, Leonora Penta, and Joshua and Trent Penta; and many cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 10:30 AM at St. Luke Church, 141 Maple St., Ellington, CT. Burial will follow in Ellington Center Cemetery, Ellington, CT.
