Frank P. Smialek III's Obituary
Frank P. Smialek, III, 60, of Hartford, CT passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at home. He grew up in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Frank and Helma (Kukowetz) Smialek, Jr. He loved being outside, going hunting, and having his very early morning cup of coffee. Frank is survived by his daughter, Sarah Cornelio and her husband Kyle; his granddaughter, Emelia; his brother, Jeffrey Smialek and his wife Julie; his former wife, Gail Smialek; his nieces and nephew, Scott, Olivia and Allison. He was predeceased by his son, Joshua Smialek; his sister, Nina Smialek; and his nephew, Jeffrey Smialek, Jr. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Edward Cemetery, West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Joshua Smialek Fund, Citizens Scholarship Foundation of Stafford Springs, c/o Krista Hicks, P.O. Box 25, Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
