Frederick Brink's Obituary
Frederick Brink, 76, of Cromwell, CT and formerly of Willington, CT, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by his family. Fred grew up in Hartford, CT and moved to Willington, CT where he resided for 40 years. Fred was the son of the late Frederick A. and Margaret McClafferty Brink. He was a retired captain and volunteer firefighter for Willington Fire Department No. 1. He belonged to Local #481 of Hartford where he retired in 2001. Fred is survived by his daughter, Sandy Brink of Cromwell, CT, with whom he made his home with, son, Matthew Brink and his daughter Maria “Duda” Jacob of Willington, CT, and Catherine and her husband Sebastian Marino, and their sons, Sebastian III, David and Michael Marino of Colchester, CT. He is also survived by his former wife, Diane Brink of Cromwell, CT, his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Robert Cournoyer of Somers, CT, their children, Tony and Robin Cournoyer, Jeff and Shannon Cournoyer, and Anne and Michael Accorsi, and his dogs, Charlie and Raven. His funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, CT. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Willington Fire Department No. 1, P.O.
