Frederick W. Davis Jr.'s Obituary
Frederick W. Davis, Jr., 88, of Enfield, CT, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 4, 2022. He was born in Putnam, CT on August 20, 1934, son of the late Frederick W. and Juliette (Riel) Davis. Fred attended schools in Ellington and Rockville. He worked all his life in construction, having worked for Roger Sherman, J.J. Mottes, Longmeadow Motors, and the Town of Stafford. Fred loved the great outdoors. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing, especially ice fishing. He was a lifetime member of the Stafford Fish and Game Club, and had raced stock cars in his younger years at Stafford Motor Speedway. Fred is survived by his beloved wife, Jacquelin (Jachim) Davis; son, William Davis of Rocky Hill, CT, daughters, Vicki Farrington of Maine, Christina Hall and her husband Matthew of Willington, CT, and Jennifer Mayo and her husband Roger of Willington, CT; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; step sons, Brian Schulz of Stafford Springs, CT, and Craig Schulz of Enfield, CT; brothers, Mack Davis and his wife Pauline of Tolland, CT, and Michael Davis and his wife Tammy of East Hartford, CT; sister, Patricia Stillwell of Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Marguerite Lawrence; and brothers, David, Paul, Kenneth, Charles, Richard, and Bruce Davis. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
