Gail L. Hitchcock's Obituary
Gail L. Hitchcock, 92, of Willimantic, CT, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Hartford, CT daughter of the late Charles and Louise (Lind) Hitchcock. Gail was a graduate of the University of Connecticut, and member of the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation. She retired from the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. as a computer programmer. Gail was a lover of all animals, especially her cats. She is survived by her nephews, Donald Myers and Ronald Myers and his wife Diane; her nephew’s wife, Charlotte Myers; and her many caregivers. She was predeceased by her sister, Sandra Marschat; and her nephew, Thomas Myers. Funeral services with burial in New Storrs Cemetery, Storrs, CT, will be held privately.
