Gail L. Thomas' Obituary
On Tuesday, March 24, 2026 Gail Lynn Thomas (Fluckiger), 71, passed peacefully, surrounded by her family. Gail’s final moments were enveloped with peace, love and kindness. She leaves behind her four children, Tammy and Mark Nuccio, Danielle and Michael Davis, Peter Thomas, and Shaun and Janira Thomas; sixteen grandchildren, Alexandria, Faith, Sarah, Cassidy, Alayna, Hannah, Hailey, Kaleb, Gianni, Chloe, Joey, Izayah, Connor, Jose, Xaviar and Leilani; and one most beloved great granddaughter, Bella Rose with another on the way. She is predeceased by her husband Robert Thomas, both of her parents, Walter and Dorothy Fluckiger, and several siblings, Diane, Marlene, Sandra, Richard, Barbara, Timothy, and Gary. She is survived by her brother Mark and his wife Fran, and her sister Carol, and eight nieces and nephews.
Gail lived a life of service. She worked in and ran many group homes for people with intellectual disabilities. Over the years she brought many loving clients into her home to be part of our family including Betty, Wing, Bobby, Patrick, Will and several others. She enjoyed time with her family, extended family and mostly her grandchildren. She enjoyed meeting people online and playing community games. Gail loved taking care of people and in their final years enjoyed living, once again, with three of her siblings in the same home. She will be fondly remembered by many and held dearly in the hearts of all.
