Garrett W. Dietz's Obituary
Garrett W. Dietz, 26, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 31, 2016. He was born in Manchester, CT, to Kevin A. and Doreen (Butler) Dietz of Stafford Springs, CT. Garrett was a graduate of Stafford High School, where he was a standout in sports, which he loved so much. He continued playing baseball in the Vernon hardball league since high school. He was currently employed as a truck driver for Fed Ex. Not only did he love sports, but also kids, dogs, and above all, his family. Besides his parents, Kevin and Doreen, Garrett is survived by his brother, Tyler Dietz; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, with a procession forming by 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Monday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
