Gary P. Brown's Obituary
Gary P. Brown, 83, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023. He was born in Eagle Lake, ME, son of the late Percy and Winifred (Pinette) Brown. Gary was a United States Marine Corps veteran, having served our country during the Vietnam era, and retired as a foreman from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft. He was also the owner/operator of O’Bright Carpet Cleaning. Gary’s hobbies included golfing, bowling, fishing, and coin collecting. He was the keeper of the family tree and loved to travel. One of his most memorable trips was to Alaska with his wife. Above all, he loved his family, and they were the number one priority in his life. Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Cynthia (Gess) Brown; three children, Sandra Bonneau and her husband Michael, Gary W. Brown and his wife Paula, and Kevin Brown and his wife Sharon; six grandchildren; a great granddaughter; three siblings, Joyce Roy, James “Pat” Brown and his wife Pamela, and David “Bob” Brown; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four siblings, Ronald, Alton “Edward”, and Eugene Brown, and Lillian Neadeau. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 10-11 A.M., with a funeral service to take place at 11 A.M., at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in East Cemetery, Manchester, CT.
