George J. Boivin, 82, of Tetrault Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2009 at his home. He was born in Thompsonville, CT, and worked all his life self employed doing home improvements. George is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa Boivin; four children, Kathleen Robert, Richard, and Douglas; three step children, Stephanie, Christine, and Tony; four grandchildren, Travis, Dalton, Cameron, and Shane; and his dog, Shadow. His funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Sunday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
