George L. Carignan's Obituary
George L. Carignan, 69, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016. He was born in Southbridge, MA, son of the late Edmond Carignan and Lorriane (Boisvert) Lafleche. George retired from the Mansfield State Training School as a CNA. He enjoyed going camping and to the casino. George is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Betty (Munk) Carignan; three daughters, Laurie Broga and her husband Wayne, Sharon Carignan, and Candy Carignan; two grandchildren, Amber Ellis and Jason Broga; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol and Clifford Jacobsen. Funeral services with burial in Staffordville Cemetery, Staffordville, CT, will be held privately.
