George Mroczkowski's Obituary
George Mroczkowski, 93, of West Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Willington, CT, son of the late Henry and Mary (Urban) Mroczkowski. George retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as a machinist after over 20 years of employment. After retirement, he worked as a self-employed button cutter. He was a member of St. Edward Parish and the Stafford Senior Center. He also enjoyed polka music and dancing. George is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Docina (Delude) Mroczkowski of Stafford Springs, CT; a son, George Mroczkowski, Jr. and his wife Suzie of Ellington, CT; two daughters, Rosalie Holmes and her husband Harry of Tolland, CT and Nancy Mroczkowski; two granddaughters; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Bernice Mroczkowski of California, and Sophia Ganong of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2007, with a procession forming at 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 4-6 P.M. at the funeral home.
