George Pippin's Obituary
George “Pip” Pippin, 89, of Willington, CT passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, on Saturday, January 20, 2024. He was born in Stafford, CT, son of the late George and Anna (Kozelka) Pippin. George served in the Army where he was stationed in Germany for a couple years working on missiles. George retired from the state of CT DOT after 38 years of Service. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Marjorie G. Pippin. He and Marge enjoyed over 30 years of travel all over the United States and Canada in their motor home. George is survived by four children, George B. Pippin and his wife Mary, Carol Spallacci and her husband Tony, Leonard Pippin and his wife Stephanie, and Daniel Pippin and his fiancée Monica Banks; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Stephen, Thomas, Michael, Nicholas, Alexander, and Katherine; four great grandchildren, Brianna, Jace, Addy and Maxwell; and many nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Kathy Aborn. He was predeceased by his sisters, Winifred Gregori and June Banks. The family would like to thank hospice, visiting nurses and the wonderful Home Instead ladies, Cheryl and Nicole, and caregiver Nadine. You all were wonderful and went above and beyond taking care of our dad. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., with a memorial service beginning at 5:00 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
