George E. Seddon's Obituary
George E. Seddon, 85, of Vernon, CT, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. He was born in Pittsfield, MA, son of the late Lawrence and Lois (Frazier) Seddon. George served our country in the United States Air Force, and worked as a 4th generation master mason until retirement. In the 1980’s he started his own business, Seddon Mason Contractors, Inc., and prospered building many masonry buildings and schools in the Central Connecticut area. His hobbies included golfing and woodworking. George is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Christa (Bader) Seddon; son, Mark Seddon and his wife Cari; granddaughters, Sarah, Hannah and her fiancé Judson, and Grace; great granddaughters to Lily and Mia; sister-in-law, Barbara Seddon; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Richard Seddon; and two brothers, Larry and Charles Seddon. Funeral services with burial in Valley Falls Cemetery, Vernon, CT, will be held privately.
