George Zamichiei's Obituary
George B. Zamichiei, 92, of West Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2007 at Woodlake at Tolland, Tolland, CT. He was born in Stafford, CT, son of the late Bartolo and Giovanna (Rech) Zamichiei. George was a U.S. Navy retiree and veteran of World War II. He also retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft as a maintenance worker, and was a member of St. Edward Parish. George is survived by many nieces and nephews; and was predeceased by four sisters and two brothers. A calling hour will be held on Monday, November 5, 2007 from 11:30-12:30 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 P.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Edward School Memorial Fund, 6 Benton St., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
