Georgette Triska's Obituary
Georgette M. Triska, 78, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Frank G. Triska, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 peacefully in the arms of her daughter Cheryl with whom she made her home. She was born in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Joseph and Yvonne (Maheux) LeBlond. Georgette retired from TYCO as a machinist, and was a member of St. Edward Parish and the Stafford Senior Center. She greatly enjoyed knitting and was a terrific cook. Above all, she was a wonderful, caring mother and grandmother. Georgette is survived by her five children, Diane Lundell and her husband James, Donna DeNardis and her husband Steven, Cheryl Fontanella and her husband Vance who took care of Georgette and whom she loved as her own son, Frank Triska, Jr., and Paul Triska; ten grandchildren, Erin, Amber, Katherine, Anthony, Theresa, Michael, Paul, Brittany, Paul, and Yvonne; five great grandchildren, Isabella, Jameson, Noah, Parker, and Brielle; two brothers, Paul LeBlond and his wife Frances, and Leonard LeBlond and his wife Betty; a very special niece, Susan DelConte and her husband Peter; her special friend and neighbor, Linda Works; and several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Armand LeBlond; and three sisters, Germaine Palenza, Marie Rose Breton, and Lorraine Weingartner. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 9-10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. The family would like to thank the hospice nurses and staff, especially Jane and Amanda, for their care and support.
