Gertrude Palozie's Obituary
Gertrude Florence Palozie, 79, of Stafford Springs, CT, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. She was the widow of the late Theodore Palozie. Gertrude was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Arthur and Olive Ellen Dorsey. She retired as a spinner from the former Warren Woolen Company after 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Edward Parish. Gertrude is survived by two daughters, Cheryl DeLisle Bradway and Theresa M. Palozie, both of Vernon, CT; three sons, Robert DeLisle and his wife Andrea of Stafford Springs, CT, Theodore M. Palozie, Jr. of New London, CT, and Richard Palozie of Stafford Springs, CT; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 10-11 A.M. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
