Gilbert F. Heck's Obituary
Gilbert F. Heck, 83, of Bushnell, FL and formerly of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on September 24, 2014. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Albert and Leila (Willis) Heck. Gilbert served in the U.S. Army for two years during the Korean Conflict. He was a former owner-operator for United Van Lines retiring in 1986 after 20 years of service. He and his wife, Claire, have been residents of Florida since 1982. He enjoyed gardening and the time he and his wife spent traveling across the country in their RV from 1995 to 2006. Gilbert is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Claire (Ricard) Heck; two children, Diane Heck and Brian Heck and his wife Pamela; granddaughter, Alicia Rhoads; sister, Evelyn Tarantino; and several nieces and nephews.
