Gloria M. Pokorny's Obituary
Gloria M. Pokorny, 90, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Theodore F. Pokorny, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late John and Vittoria (Zambon) DaDalt. Gloria had worked as a mender at Loro Piana, and was a member of St. Edward Church, and the Stafford Senior Center. She is survived by her two sons, Theodore J. Pokorny and his wife Frances, and Barry Pokorny and his wife Brenda; four grandchildren, Frank Pokorny and his wife Amanda, Thomas Pokorny and his wife Stacy, and Amanda and Heidi Pokorny; two great grandchildren, Tommy and Emily; three sisters, Lillian Dion, Rose DaDalt, and Regina Corsini; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Brian Pokorny; two brothers, Louis and Frank DaDalt; and three sisters, Josephine Gall, Palmira Guarco, and Viola Niemitz. A calling hour will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 9:15 – 10:15 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
