Gregory Choma,'s Obituary
Gregory Choma, Jr., 72, of Monson Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Gregory, Sr. and Lottie (Owad) Choma. Greg was a U.S. Army veteran, and retired as a machinist from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft. He greatly enjoyed building and running antique engines, and was a member of the Scantic Valley Engine Club. Greg is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Claudette (Hubert) Choma; two children, Michael Choma and his wife Lisa, and Julie Rurak and her husband Miguel; grandson, Dylan Choma; sister, Geraldine Canestrari and her husband Arthur; and nephew, Tony Canestrari, all of Stafford Springs, CT. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 10-11 A.M. with a funeral service to take place at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Stafford Ambulance Association, 11 Monson Rd., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
