Gregory J. Marsh's Obituary
Gregory J. Marsh, 56, of Ashford, CT passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Greg was born to the late Donald E. Marsh and Constance Laurion Marsh on September 29, 1965 in Hartford, CT. He attended Howell Cheney Technical High School and went on to become a Master Electrician and union member with IBEW - Local 35 of Hartford for over 30 years. Greg loved to fish and hunt with his family and was an avid fan of the New England Patriots. He was also a devoted Brother In Blue lodge, Moriah Lodge #15 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. He was a member of Local York Rite bodies, Trinity Chapter, Montgomery Council, and St. John's Commandery. Greg is survived by his best friend, love of his life, and wife, Julie (Raymond) Marsh; two sons, John and Brian Marsh; mother, Constance (Laurion) Marsh of Tolland, CT; brother, Jeff Marsh and his wife Anne of West Boylston, MA; his late father’s wife, Nancy Marsh of Guilford, VT; aunt and uncle, Carol and Stan Klekotka of Conway, SC; and aunt, Jeanette Marsh of Princeton, MA (deceased uncle Robert Marsh). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, wonderful friends, and his dog and loyal companion, Aceorama. A private Funeral Mass for immediate family only will be held at St. Edward Church in Stafford Springs, CT. Masks required. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced shortly.
