Roxann I'm so sorry for your loss.
We haven’t met but I worked with Gil at UCONN when I was a student working at WPCF. He was the kindest, most gentle old soul. When he smoked his pipe, had a good belly laugh and had that twinkle in his eye he reminded me of Santa Claus. I visited him this summer, and again Oct 12, I was surprised today to learn he passed a few days later. I know he is somewhere better, puttering in a green house doing the things he loved and maybe catching up with my Dad! I regret missing his service but I only learned of his passing.
