Harry P. "Bud" Bagley, Jr.'s Obituary
Harry P. “Bud” Bagley, Jr., 88, of Ashford, CT passed away unexpectedly, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital. Bud is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Eugenie (Rethore) Bagley. Bud was a proud truck driver with Teamsters Local 671 for over 60 years. Always smiling and enjoying life with friends and family, he was especially proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Harry P. and Pearl (LaViolette) Bagley, Sr. Bud served our country in the United States Air Force. He was a Trustee of Teamsters Local #671 Retirees Association, a member of the Ashford Democratic Town Committee, where he previously served as Vice Chair, Ashford Planning and Zoning Commission, and the Ashford Zoning Board of Appeals. Bud is also survived by his daughter, Victoria (Bagley) Fortier and her husband Paul; grandchildren, Paige (Fortier) Boyle and her husband Jason, and Malynda Smith and her husband Aric; great grandchildren, Dustin Smith and Samantha Smith; and several much loved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah (Bagley) Perkins, and his siblings Dawn Cyr, William Bagley, and Jack Bagley, and nephews Daniel George, William Bagley, Jr., and Jack Bagley, Jr. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. His funeral will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home, followed by burial with Military Honors at Wapping Cemetery, South Windsor, CT.
