Helen M. Bradway's Obituary
Helen M. Bradway, 97, of Union, CT, wife of the late Wesley R. Bradway, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021. She was born in Stafford, CT, daughter of the late Otto and Johanna (Foerster) Dunnebier. Helen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She always kept busy helping out on the farm, and was active in the Congregational Church of Union, where she was a deaconess for many years. She was also the secretary for the school board in Union for many years, and enjoyed gardening and traveling with her husband and local farm organizations. Helen is survived by her two sons, David Bradway and his companion Liz Bruce of New Hampshire, and Walter Bradway and his wife Janice of Union, CT; son-in-law, John Murdock of Union, CT; 10 grandchildren, Jacqueline Greer and her husband Bill, Dean Bradway, Jason Bradway, Michelle Olsen and her husband James, Heidi O’Brien and her husband Kevin, Jennifer Kelly and her husband Peter, Michael Bradway, Steven Murdock and his wife Kelly, Heather Murdock, and Corey Murdock and his wife Kandace; 15 great grandchildren, Amber, William, Elizabeth, Catherine, Christine, Ciara, Leila, Gretchen, Gillian, Otto, Alexander, Cole, Mackenzie, Wesley, and Erin; two great, great grandsons, Landon and Blake; sister, Emma Bradway; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two children, Roger Bradway and Diane Murdock; and her great grandson, Brian Murdock. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 5-7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Her funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 11 A.M. at the Congregational Church of Union, 976 Buckley Highway, Union, CT. Burial will follow in Union Center Cemetery, Union, CT.
