Helen Bradway's Obituary
Helen S. Bradway, 102, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Charles P. Bradway, passed away in the comfort of her home on May 15, 2017. She was born in Chicopee, MA, daughter of the late Stanislaw and Pauline Guzek. Helen was the last surviving family member of her generation. Her hobbies included gardening, crocheting, and cooking, and she was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. Above all, she loved her family and enjoyed the time she was able to spend with them. Helen is survived by her daughter, Charlene Poquette and her husband Tim; daughter-in-law, Lisa Bradway Vickers and her husband Robert; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Babcock and her husband Tim, Marshall Bradway and his fiancé Krystle Keena, and Katie Bradway and her husband Justin; and five great grandchildren, Alyssa, Greg, Alex, Chase, and Abigail. She was predeceased by her son, Edward Bradway. A calling hour will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 9-10 A.M. with a funeral service to take place at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in West Stafford Cemetery, Stafford, CT. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Helen’s caregivers, Joyce, Kathi, Carly, and Lorraine, for the many years of care and comfort they provided.
