Helen Dombek's Obituary
Helen R. Dombek, 98, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Joseph P. Dombek, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Fox Hill Nursing Home, Rockville, CT. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late William and Katherine (Hannifin) Roche. Helen retired from the Mansfield State Training School as a housekeeper after over 20 years of employment. She was a member of St. Edward Parish and Court Isabella #785 Catholic Daughters of America. Helen is survived by her three sons and their wives, Joseph W. and Julieanne Dombek of Keymar, MD, David E. and Patricia Dombek of St. Cloud, FL, and Mark A. and Patricia Dombek of Wales, MA; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kathleen Dombek; and four sisters, Elizabeth McAnanama, Ann Roche, Alice Williams, and Margaret Parent. A calling hour will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011 from 10-11 A.M. with a funeral service to take place at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Rd. 2nd Floor, Bethesda, MD 20814.
